Object Description
Large polychrome ladle with scooped handle and leather carrying strap. Typical Blue Corn colors. Interior of bowl is unpolished. Exterior is highly polished with narrow band of black at rim followed by scalloping in green edged in red. Scooped handle has three painted figures: red and black 12 legged ladybug; red and black 12 legged beetle and brown, green and black turtle. Dimensions: 6.9 cm high x 12.1 cm wide x 31.1 cm max. length. *Signed on bottom of ladle Blue Corn San Ildefonso Pueblo.
