Display Title Coiled cattail reed bowl with motif of diagonal bands

Object Description Coiled bowl of cattail reed with slightly flaring sides. Natural willow background with designs of brown martynia pod. Design consists of an encircling band at base of sides and four diagonal bands between base and rim. Bands are composed of two brown lines of squares with one natural in between. Rim is finished in slant stitch with martynia pod. Made from bundles of cattail reeds, sewn with willow and martynia pod.
