Object Description Note reads, "Head of a mummy from Thebes, Egypt. This was taken from one of the ancient catacombs and is supposed to be 3000 years old near whter the famous tomb of Belzoni was excavated. It was presented to Prof. Leffingwell and by him to me in 1958. Joseph M. Wightman" (?)
