Object Description
Written on album page: "This view was taken from a tower superposed on the mound in the foreground. Both mound and tower were alleged to have been built by the Sao, ancestors of the present inhabitants, who, it seems, were large enough to carry an elephant on each shoulder and step across the Shari [Chari] in a single stride. The arrow points to the test block which we isolated and examined."
