Descriptions
Object Description Seven-holed duct flute (flageolet) made of cedar, painted with red pigment (vermilion?), and encased with an animal’s intestinal membrane. The rectangular wooden slide or tuner placed above the stop of the instrument is carved to suggest a zoomorphic form.
Inventory Description Wooden flute, lead-capped end, wooden stopper tied with leather, painted red.
