Descriptions
Object Description Band of warp-faced 1-1 double weave w/series of repeated geometric motifs: stepped block diagonals, chevrons, rectangles, a profile feline(?). Designs use equal amounts of red, dark green, gold, white; colors change place in each repeat (warp: camelid, (z-2s), 36 epcm.). Weft: red camelid on one face; brown camelid on other; (z-2s), 9 epcm. Brown weft does not go quite to edge, leaving narrow, single lower edge. At each end 4 multi-colored camelid tassels. Two weft selvages.
