Object Description
Coca bag w/small bag attached (for lime), of slit & interlock tapestry, unpaired warps. Bag made from a rect. folded in half and sewn up sides. 2 weft selv. but warps cut, rolled, and finished w/overcast stitch. Smaller "bag" attached to top edge of large bag (for lime?). Main bag: central image on each side: one is rayed face, other human face w/teardrops and a headdress with wings. Both images amid birds and filler elements arranged symmetrically. Weft stripes at top and bottom, one w comp. float weave.Small bag in weft stripes, one w/ "N. D.MAI. 8 and& (A.D. May 8). Warp; weft: camelid, z-2s.
