Display Title Zuni and Hopi men with Frank Hamilton Cushing

Object Description Studio portraits taken during F. H. Cushing's visit to Worcester, Massachusetts of Cushing with a group of Zuni and Hopi Native Americans. Identified Zuni include Laiiuahtsailunkia; priest of the temple, Naiiuhtchi; senior priest of the order of the bow, Palowaihtiwa; Governor of Zuni and political chief of the Macaw clan, and Kiasi; junior bow priest. Identified Hopi is Nanahe or Cornflower; a Hopi who had been adopted as a member of the little fire order in Zuni.
Object Description The two men standing are bow priests.
