Object Description
Knife sheath-youth's. Quill on buffalo hide. Formerly owned by the Sioux Indian "Black Shield" of this agency. The round dots with descending lines represent the number of wounds that he received in battle and the horse-shoe marks denote the number of horses captured or taken by him from his enemies.
