Crescent-shaped headdress, used in "sing-sing" or peacemaking ceremonies Decorated with dried flowers; feathers; covered with human hair from enemy tribe. Decorative section, which includes 2 machine made buttons, worn towards front. Red dyes are vegetal; rubbed into hands and then applied to surface. Also worn during dances.
