Object Description
Triangular headcloth(?) constructed of two pieces of white cotton (z-2s) gauze weave (each 78 x 34 cm.) seamed together lengthwise and folded on diagonal to form a triangle. Each piece is divided into one square of simple gauze and one square of complex alternating gauze with diagonal rows of wave motifs. Along two sides is stitched a band of complementary warp float weave in black, white camelid (z-2s) depicting diagonal wavebands, serrated lines. Bands have 4 selvages; abut at corners.
