Object Description
Bag divided into three broad stripes of white-brown-white separated by narrow stripes of blue and dark brown, and filled with large profile bird. Bird woven in black camelid (2z-2s) or white cotton (2z-2s) in supplementary weft floatweave. 3 yellow camelid tassels attached at bottom. Folded across bottom, seamed up sides. Long warp loops left at opening, tucked in, bag sewn shut. Cord attached at each side. One warp, two weft selvages. Warp: (z-2s), 14 epcm. Weft: brown cotton, (z-pairs), 6 ppcm.
