Object Description Doll illustrating costume of Ladakhi man. Typical Ladakhi man -farmer or horseboy- wearing white robe of coarse homespun with girdle or sash of red cloth. Inner shirt with sleeves of loosely woven cotton turning back over the cuffs of the robe. Trouser of coarse white cloth tied tightly around waist. Felt legging tied with cord of braided yak hair, boots with leather soles with sides of yak hair cording. Earrings, necklace, and hat lined with lamb's wool with turned up ear lappets.
