Object Description
Woman's sealskin winter coat. Pieced together in a decorative pattern: above the waist the fur direction is upwards; below the waist it is downwards. Center front is the back of the skin, the darker fur. Shoulder bands, wrist bands, collar and center front opening are decorated with fabric applique and embroidery made of vegetable fibers, velvet and dyed wool thread trim. Fox fur is applied to the shoulder and wrist bands. Blue glass beads are sewn onto the shoulder bands.
