Object Description
Bronze crossbow fibula of Middle La Tene character. Foot bends back to end in paddle-shaped ornament that is attatched to the bow with an iron rivet. The bow is leaf-shaped and decorated with incised lines and dot-and-circles. The foot is set with a cruciform knob decorated with grooves. These grooves may at one time have held a substance such as enamel. 8.7 x 5.8 x 2.5 cm.
