Object Description
Bronze crossbow fibula of Middle La Tene character. Foot bends back to grasp solid leech-shaped bow. Foot contains an oval junction disk with a central hole and a raised lip set with enamel. The end of the foot and the lip of the disk are decorated with incised lines. Found with an identical object (40-77-40/12432), with which it formed a matching pair. 7 x 5.1 x 2.9 cm.
