Object Description
Fragmentary bronze shield-shaped fibula. Foot bends back to grasp the wire bow, and at the junction is set with a shield-shaped disk with a "x" shaped groove. This groove was probably originally filled with enamel, of which traces remain. Below the junction, the foot ends in a crossbar that must have rested on the spring. Middle La Tene in character. 3.4 x 3.2 x 1.7 cm.
