Object Description
Silver letter opener with design on handle in cut out and overlay technique. The design is cut out of the metal on each side of the handle and filled with glass. In between the two sheets of glass are yellow, blue, purple, and green feathers. The design itself is very abstract, and Bowers identifies it as very similar to the Zapotec patterns in Oaxaca. Stamped on back "DOMINDIEZ TAXCO."
