Object Description Coarse plain weave cream colored cotton textile with red and black fret design at one end; breech cloth?; possibly unfinished: Textile portion of 1-1 plainweave white cotton (z-2s, warp: 8 epcm.; weft: 6 epcm.). One end decorated with large-scale fret design in black, bright pink camelid (z-2s) extra weft patterning. Xwefts alternate with ground wefts, move over 3 under 1, shifting. One warp to right each time, giving effect of a tight diagonal twill; pattern weft continuous; color not on front floats on back. Warp headings have three tripled wefts.
