Object Description
Huari-style 4-pointed cap constructed of a piece of Ica tapestry. Double-headed birds, serpents, step frets woven in pink, blue, lavender, gold, outlined in black on red ground. Single interlocked tapestry with camelid wefts and brown cotton warps (both 2s-plied). Huari spiral wrapped pile points have been inserted into corners, and a fifth tassel attached to center of crown. Bottom edge finished with needleworked round braid in green, red, gold.
