Object Description
Bronze fibula, of Middle La Tene character; wire foot bends back to grasp solid leech-shaped bow and joins a central looped post that probably held amber or enamel; bronze wire ring is wrapped around catchplate; crossbow spring's cross piece wraps around base of bow; adhering to pin are remains of an iron ring, bronze chain, burnt bone. 4.9 x 4 x 2.4 cm.
