Object Description
Textile doll. 45 cm. x 23. cm. Large head is constructed on 2 sticks covered with cotton plainweave. Features and ornaments are embroidered and appliqued, and consist of weft faced alpaca bands, feathered sticks, yarn fringe, etc. Two long cotton braids hang down from either side of head. Red and Yello alpaca yarns cover "shoulders and body". No body features other than head indicated. Doll rests on 1/1 loosely woven cotton plain weave with red and brown stripes.
