Cord or necklace of trade amulets. Leather necklace with with decorative packets.
The obect is a necklace made of leather. It has five decorated rectangular leather amulet packets possibly containing fragments of Koran and is strung on three strands of 's' twisted, leather cord. Identifying numbers: Peabody catalogue number has been painted in red on the verso of the central amulet.
