Object Description
Collection of soil (b) and seeds wrapped in 4 packets of paper, housed in a tin box (a), "taken from the 8 furrows plowed by His Imperial Majesty - the Emperor of China, April 11th, 1904" (as is written on one of the packets). Accompanying note: "soil and seeds taken from the furrows plowed by His Imperial Majesty, April 11th, 1904". Tin has painted landscape scenes with people. Tin held closed with red and white string.
