Object Description
Headband with horns. Leather ties: 14" by 1/8" Horns: 7" length; wrapped with white and red beads.
Headband made with skin having two horns decorated with beads.
The object is a headband made with two thin strips of hide. Two horns are strung through the holes at their base that are pierced. The horns are decorated with alternating double rolls of white and red beads, held in place with a resin-like material. Two green beads on the underside of of the horns are present.
Identifying numbers:
A Peabody number has been applied on twill tape and attached to the interior on one of the horns.
