Descriptions
Object Description
Large carved wooden spoon made from a single piece of wood, with a flat pierced bowl; used for serving a traditional food, khinkali (meat dumpling). Because there is beef in the khinkali, the spoon is carved with a bull's head. There is also a traditional pattern of crosses on the 3-sided handle, and the swirl design on the bull's forehead represents eternity/infinity.
