Object Description
Drinking straw with scratching stick. Hollow reed straw has painted zigzag pattern in red, green and purple, and one carved zigzag. The straw is attached to a rawhide strip with knotted sinew. Paint is wearing off. 12.7 cm long x 1.0 cm diameter.
Scratching stick of roughly shaped wood, tapered at one end. Attached to the same rawhide strip with knotted sinew. 13.9 cm long x .75 cm diameter. Rawhide strip is in a loop and measures 61.7 cm long
