Object Description
Man's jacket; part of outfit with short pants 986-5-20/26184b; both of natural black wool; the body of the jacket is one dimension; sleeves are each a separate piece; the jacket has a split running down in the midddle of the front, which is sewn together at the bottom; no buttons; both fringes are at the bottom of the back; no warp or weft line patterns; no brocade; chainstitch embroidery in purple, blue, salmon and green shiny thread; frontal designs are a zigzag and a swirl, dorsal ones are these plus floral; some embroidery on the collar; pocket lining is white and blue in Solola style; ceremonial use; small holes, insect damage
