Object Description
Embroidered cloth. Two different rectangle raffia cloths stitched together. One has large diamonds in gold colored palm-leaf fiber cut to form pile, and brown diamonds inside. Other has alternating blocks of zig zag triangles in alternating colors and a block of wide diagonal gold colored stripes cut in pile. Single stitched brown diagonals and brown pile cut triangles. Both cloths are worn, faded, or stained and ripped. Possibly late 19th century. Overall dimensions: len. 132 cm, wid. 53.2 cm.
