Object Description Small round pottery vessel, hand formed, grey, orangey-brown, unsmooth surface with fire clouding. Diagonal pattern on shoulders from pressing a reed into the soft clay and rolling it. Used as a "stopper" in larger vessels. Purchased from a female potter on roadside. Smallest vessel she made. Diam. 11.4 cm, ht. 8.3 cm
