Object Description
Native copper projectile point stylistically consistant with the "Old Copper Complex" of Archaic Great lakes prehistory. Point has a leaf shaped blade and a socket that is rounded in cross-section and has a hole, probably to allow a nail to be inserted in order to stop the point from slipping off the shaft. Wittry (1951) type I-B.
