Inventory Description
Black ceramic vessel with flat base, body of vessel is in the shape of a shallow, decorated basket filled with corn, base of vessel is segmented into four quarters and incised to resemble a woven texture, side of "basket" are separated by vertical stripes into panels, two alternating types of patterns appear in panels, first pattern is crescents with tips pointed upward on a dotted background, second pattern is three birds with long necks, beaks, and legs facing left, top of vessel body depicts several ears of corn without husks, straight spout located on top of "corn", flat rim, small piece missing from one of the ears of corn
