Object Description
Strip of otter skin with snake head from Crow medicine kit. Consists of painted parfleche container (A), a carved wood tube w/ a snake carved out in relief (B). According to Claflin, tube was used for sucking out evil from the body of the patient. The third portion consists of a long strip of otter skin attached to a snake's head (C). 35.1x19 cm.
