Object Description
Carved and painted wooden snake (for full description, see catalogue in X-FILE 65-36). Carved and painted wooden snake. Segments of body are hinged and covered with cloth. The snake is a representation of Sisiul. This snake is carried on rods, the holes are in the bottem of the head and the first segment of the tail and could be manipulated in a realistic snake-like wriggle. The snakes head at one time had feathers projecting upward from the top edge. Orig # 8.
