Object Description Carved and painted wooden mask with moveable parts. By pulling control cord the crown of the mask can be spun in different directions. There is shreded cedar bark around the face. The top of the mask has device surmounted by pegs which rotates, the top is believed to hold bird down and when the top was rotated by the strings, the down was scattered as symbol of peace and goodwill.
