Object Description
Carved wooden head of snake, inserted into body formed of warps (vegetal fiber) spiralling around core and covered with weft wrapping. Design imitates a snake's markings: zigzag hooked lines of red and beige camelid on dark brown camelid. Final (48 cm.) are a multiple strand braid of vegetal fiber.
