Object Description
Carved and painted wooden Transformation Mask. This is a double mask the innerface is exposed when the outer mask raises on vertical iron rods. When it is closed it displays one face but outerface can be raised displaying the second face which is a man. This type of mask was often used by Kwakwaka’wakw.. Orig #4
