Object Description
Rattle of hornbill's head (to represent various birds of forest: Ledger); this object is connected by cotton fabric to a stick (18-27-50/B2097) , which is also described in Ledger as a hornbill rattle. An additional "swatch" of cotton textile is wrapped around the stick along with a length of split cane. The hornbill is wrapped with textile tied off with split cane, to hold the rattle components in the head. A single feather is held by the cane wrap.
