Ceremonial bow (with 7 arrows, no. 28449)

Inventory Description
Ethnographic wood bow, red coloring on back of bow, face of bow is completely decorated with nine blocks of paint in red, white, black and green framed with black lines at the top and bottom of each new color block. In the two green blocks are further painted decoration of four black dots and a central x. Bow string is made of sinew. Tied to the bow in two areas is a wool string, attached to one of these is a partial white feather. Small black spots all over the wood. Seven arrows (28449) are attached to the bow with a similar wool string.
