Written on board: "New Jersey. (Trenton) / View of exposure of the bluff. Broad St. Park. This place is over 1 m. E. of Labor Field. The pebbles that show in the photo 1 1/2 ft. below the surface are marking the junction of the black & yellow soil are Indian relics. 1898. / No. 30. Pl. XXI. / American Museum Delaware Valley Exploration."
