Object Description
Written on board: "34-119. Texas, Camp County. / Bowl from burial #2, depth 36", P. S. Cash (negro) farm. / Decorated with nodes. Originally there were four large knobs near the rim, spots occupied by two of them showing in photo. No knobs on vessel when it was found in the grave. It is a typical "rattle bowl" with the tattle-knobs missing. / Height, 2 1/2"; diameter, 5". / Bowls of this type usually have nodes with pellets for rattling, these large nodes have dropped off this speciman. Gift of J. E. Pearce. Chairman of Department of Anthropology, University of Texas."
