Object Description
Written on board: Huichol / Mexico / Jalisco / One of the officials of Santa Catarina who was called in to the municipal center to discuss official business. He was unaware that he was being photographed. The shoulder cape, (tüwára) and bead ear-rings (na-cütza) are common in all sections I cisited except Tuxpan and Guadalupe Ocotán where their use seems to be dying out. / photo copyright by Edwin Forgan Myers
