Descriptions
Object Description Written on board: Navajo; Arizona. "Roy" Huskon, Navajo, Cameron. FC(?) July 19'39. "Roy Huskon" A magnificent six foot (over) Navajo. Had hair in true Navajo style with the 'Tsiyelth". Turquoise earrings and necklace. Note: "pocl mark" - which it is not - on his right cheek. It is the only recorded record among the Navajos of a ceremony against sickness. His grandfather inoculated him against this ailment when Roy was only six. It evidently has proved successful by his continued health. No other example known. The Navajoes have the strong chin and heavy cheek bones that the Seri and Terascan Indians have.
