Written on board: "Navajo Indians (Athapascan) / Navajo Ganado (see notes on reverse) / Miss Nicholson Photographs. / [verso] H3927 - Lorenzo Hubbell's (a close friend of Pres. Theo. Roosevelt, who stayed here) trading post . His house is to the R in the background. All original furnishings were purchased from his grand daughter in the 1960's. Nat. Park Service now . The rugs at sagamore Hill, Oyster Bay, were purchased here."
