Object Description
Dance shield, lacquered wood, silver-colored radiating pattern with central black circle on concave side, 2 notched rings on the edge, 8 evenly spaced groups of 3 silver striations, some damage to lacquer on rim, central crack extending the diameter, 2 supports in the middle of the convex side connected to 2 handles, supports attached with metal, striations carved into supports, one handle covered by braided plant fibers, one handle carved with rings, plant fiber woven into a thread that connects the handles, dirt and discoloration

Shield, circular, lacquered wood, painted black with silver radiating designs, two raised wooden bars on opposite side, two handles, one wrapped with twised fiber cordage
