Object Description
Woman's sash (faja); red ground; no warp line design; many weft lines, basically split into groups of 6-9, in orange, green, white, purple, violet, blue; abundant brocade of single-sided free-standing animals, birds, zoomorphs and symbols in same colors as warps, plus yellow; embroidery on one side in green and blue; symbols are chevronic, both large and small; each pattern of symbols is defined by a boundary of warp lines; on one side there is a snake pattern made by the embroidered thread, also some form of chevron pattern; knotted and braided fringe; some dirt on non-brocaded area
