Object Description Represented here is the aajijak (ojijak, crane) doodem drawn by a Pembina Anishinaabe chief who came to live in Sandy River, Red Lake Reservation, Minnesota. He drew this in July 1908. Collected by Frances Densmore. Part of David I Bushnell, Jr. collection. Written on board: "Ah-je-jak (crane) / (verso) Ah-bay-zisk - (Swall) a Perubina Chip. who married a woman of this band & now lives on Sandy River - Red Lake Reservation, Minn. Red Lake Agency, July 5th, 1908."
