Object Description
Written on board: Mexico. Oaxaca. Monte Alban. (From a 1933 exhibition at the Met entitled "The Monte Alban Treasure") Collector: Dr. Caso (the discoverer) Donor of these prints: Dr. H.E. Winlock, Director (1933) Metropolitan Museum of Art. three funeral urns, representing God of Water, God of Fire, these were found at entrance to tomb mixed with the debris, stones and earth.
