Written on board: Oaxaca, Zapotec. Right Urn Cat. No. 47120, Height: 7 1/4". Color: Light gray ceramic. / Left Urn: Cat. No. C-10156, Height: 6-5/8". Color: Light tan ceramic with light gray wash and vestiges of black, white and red pigment. Pupil of right eye painted in with black paint. Provenience: Nochistlan. Both Urns: The God with the Buccal Mask of a Serpent (Dios con Mascara Bucal de Serpiente) Epoch of transition of Monte Alban.
