Object Description Written on board: Honduras / Tenampua / Jungle growth about caves, in N.W. corner of plateau. The entrance to each cave is a large round pit; largest -- 19 ft. in diameter, 16 ft. deep. In the north side of the same is the actual commencement of underground passage. / Photos by Dorothy Popenoe, 1927. Given to the Museum by Dr. Popenoe.
